So I have a prescription from my Eye Doctor but isn’t it kind of a hassle to get it from them since I am not buying glasses in their office or store?

Not at all. Remember that your prescription is in fact YOUR prescription. This is no different than when you get a cold and your Eye Doctor give you a prescription for Antibiotics. You can have it filled at whatever pharmacy you choose.

But I don’t want to call or visit the doctor myself to ask… I don’t feel comfortable with that. How can you help me?

No problem… just let us know the name and location of the Eye Doctor and we will make the request for you. You do not have to lift a finger. We can make it happen quick and easy.

Do your quality lenses really make a difference?

Quality ophthalmic lenses make ALL the difference. All the lenses we sell are digitally surfaced. What does that mean for you? Quality digitally surfaced lenses make all the difference. In order to illustrate the difference, visit Eye Candy Optical and we can personally demonstrate the difference these lenses can make for your vision.

If you have prescription requiring a progressive lens (which back in the day was called a no line bi-focal) you are in even more luck at Eye Candy Optical. The progressive lenses we use are not only digitally surfaced but completely personalized. What that means to you is you will be able to see your absolute best because the lenses were made custom JUST FOR YOU. The lens features THE BEST visual field for distance, reading, and intermediate vision for you.

Anti-Reflective Coatings – Everybody says I have to have it... What’s the deal?

Anti-Reflective (A/R) and Anti-Scratch coatings make a big difference for you for a couple of reasons. From a vision perspective, A/R coatings reduce glare. This will give you more clarity. Anti-Scratch coating prolongs the life of your lenses. A/R coatings help you see better especially driving at night. In terms of your own personal vanity, A/R coatings reduce glare on the lenses so we can see your beautiful eyes. The good news is that Eye Candy Optical uses a PREMIUM quality Anti-Reflective and Anti-Scratch coatings on every pair of glasses.
